On March 16, 2023, at the Head Office Building of TPBI Public Company Limited, Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom Province.

Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer, TPBI Public Company Limited, represented the WON project in receiving stretchable plastic scraps from sanitary pad packaging which had been collected through the project "Laurier Girl's Power" from Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd., represented by Ms. Rata Thiraphan.

The project “Laurier Girl's Power” is a collaboration between the WON project and Laurier, the sanitary pad product, which has been launched since June 2022. As Laurier has foreseen the problem of post-consumer plastic waste from sanitary pad packaging, they initiated various activities to educate and convince users to dispose of sanitary pad packaging of any brand at the Won project's collection points, which has more than 400 points throughout Bangkok and its vicinity. Moreover, users can also drop off at the specific waste bins that Laurier has given to more than 84 schools throughout Bangkok and its vicinity. Then Laurier will collect and deliver it to the WON project to be processed into recycled plastic pellets so that it is able to be reused again. Besides that, every 1 kg. of collected sanitary pad packaging, the WON project will also donate 5 baht to Sireetarn Marine Endangered Animals Rescue Center.

The WON project was initiated by TPBI Public Company Limited in June 2018. The goal is being the destination of stretchable plastic from all over the country. Throughout the past period,  they have cooperated with a lot of government agencies and private sectors to reduce the problem of plastic waste. Nowadays, they have been collecting more than 300 tons of clean and dry stretchable plastic, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 280 tons of carbon or planting more than 30,000 trees!
