On February 14, 2023, TPBI Public Company Limited by Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer, as a company member of the Thai Bioplastics Industry Association (TBIA), jointly donated 40,000 bioplastic garbage bags to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to be used in the waste sorting project which Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, Governor of Bangkok as a recipient at the Chao Phraya room, Bangkok City Hall, Bangkok.

Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul said, “TPBI Public Company Limited is pleased to be part of the Thai Bioplastics Industry Association to do this social activity today. We believe that proper plastic waste sorting for recycling and using more biodegradable plastics are two important ways that will effectively reduce the amount of plastic waste that goes to landfills.”

TPBI Public Company Limited is one of the founding members of "Thai Bioplastics Club", which was founded on August 10, 2005. The club’s objective was to push Thailand to be a leader in the bioplastics industry. Later, when more companies joined as members, they changed the name to "Thai Bioplastics Industry Association" on November 29, 2007, and have used that name until now. At present, Mr. Viboon Pungprasert is the president of the association.
