With the business opportunities in the flexible plastic packaging for consumer products to serve the demand of customers in the segment of Thai instant food manufacturers exporting to Japan and other countries, T.A.K. Packaging Co., Ltd. ("TAK") was incorporated in partnership with Kanaoka Co., Ltd. and the A.P.S. Group (including A.P.S. Co., Ltd. and Asia Packaging Center Co., Ltd.).
The TPBI Group further follows the future market trends in the fast-growing biodegradable and environmentally friendly plastic packaging market by investing in Minima Technology Co., Ltd. ("Minima Tech"), a Taiwanese bioplastic manufacturer.
In addition, the Company has partnered with P.P. Packaging Co., Ltd., a plastic food packaging manufacturer and distributor, in setting up TMP Packaging Co., Ltd. ("TMP") for engaging in the business of paper cups manufacturing and distributing, and in April 2015 incorporated with Thai German Recycle Technology Co., Ltd. ("TGRT") to undertake the business of the post-consumer plastic scrap manufacturing through the cleaning and recycling process.
In past year 2017, The Company sees a business opportunities to extend plastic packaging production to ASEAN by established TPBI & Myanmar Star Company Limited (“TPBIMS”) with Solution Creation Company Limited who business partner and Myanmar Star Group Company Limited who manufacturer plastic packaging in Myanmar for investing in plastic packaging manufacturing factory in Yangon, Myanmar. We use knowledge and expertise in production to adjust the production process effectively to produce on demand in Myanmar. In the future, it will be used as a production base for export to other regions around the world.
In 2018, The company expand and diversify the business into paper packaging industry, aligned with the current global trend of environment sustainability and research and develop new products of the company that will be sold in Thailand and expand the market of plastic packaging products of the group to Europe And Australia. The company therefore approved in principle that TPBI International Company Limited purchased all ordinary shares of Intelipac Group in England.
