A-PLAS: Asian Community Plastic Exhibition 2024 - Integrating Plastic Value Chain for Eco-Future

On September 19, 2024, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok, Mr. Somsak Borrisuttanakul, Chairman of the Executive Board of TPBI Public Company Limited, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for A-PLAS: Asian Community Plastic Exhibition 2024, delivered the opening remarks to distinguished guests and the media. The event was officially inaugurated by Mr. Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).

A-PLAS 2024 is a collaborative effort between the Plastics Industry Club of the Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Plastic Industries Association, and its supporting partners, including the Plastics Institute of Thailand, the Thai Tool and Die Industry Association, and the Thai Bioplastics Industry Association. The event is organized under the theme “Integrating Plastic Value Chain for Eco-Future”, focusing on circular economy principles to drive the transition towards a carbon-neutral world, with the goal of achieving NET ZERO emissions by 2050. This marks the third edition of the event.

The exhibition showcases cutting-edge technologies and innovations that align with the business goals of stakeholders in the global plastics industry. Key features of the event include panel discussions, displays of plastic products and components from both public and private sectors in Thailand and abroad, award-winning plastic innovations, and a "Plastic Clinic" offering expert consultations to businesses. A-PLAS 2024 runs from September 19-21, 2024, at BITEC, Bangkok.
