The TCAS.9-2022 is a plastic recycling traceability process and evaluation of conformity and recycled ingredients which is assessed by the Management System Certification Institute (Thailand) or MASCI under the project to develop and upgrade establishments, especially the export business, to meet the Circular Economy international standards to connect the market to the global value chain, which is comprised of monitoring the amount of carbon and the use of recycled materials to meet international standards.

Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul said, “TPBI recognizes the importance of the traceability process because the company has been recycling plastic waste for decades. Therefore, it is important to confirm our reliability by displaying information on the use of various recycled materials, and this also complies with company policy that needs to grow sustainably and focus on the needs of customers. In addition, this process helps increase the knowledge of our employees to be prepared to apply for various international standards because most of TPBI's clients are from the international market and they request information on the proportion of PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) plastic pellets mixed in the products. As a result of participating in the assessment of the TCAS.9-2022, we have used knowledge gained to submit the Global Recycle Standard Certification (GRS) to enhance our capability to export products more widely, and TPBI has recently passed the assessment from GRS.”
