Launch LifeHakStore2

With a commitment to develop sustainable environmentally friendly products, TPBI Public Company Limited has developed a product, the Won Sorting Bags, which are made from 100% recycled plastic pellets with a mixture of Post-Consumer Resin (PCR) up to 40% by weight. A roll of the size 26” x 34” (10 bags) or a roll of the size 30” x 40” (7 bags) of the Won Sorting Bags will help reduce the amount of plastic waste in the environment equivalent to more than 30 plastic bags and reduce Carbon Emission throughout the life cycle of the product from raw material acquisition, production, distribution, use and disposal by up to 1.9 kg CO2e or reduce up to 83.70% compared to using new raw material pellets from petroleum bases.

Recently, the Won Sorting Bags, both size 26” x 34” and 30” x 40”, have been certified for products containing PCR 40% from the Plastics Institute of Thailand or PITH. The main objective of this certification is to enhance the ability of entrepreneurs in the plastic recycling industry.

Mr. Saksit Borisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer, TPBI Public Company Limited, added that “The fact that the Won Sorting Bags has been certified for a product that contains 40% PCR from PITH will help building trust with customers that they have chosen a standard quality product with a mixture of PCR in the actually specified proportion and rest assured that every single bag will truly reduce the impact on the environment. Moreover, receiving this certification also reflects the clear goals of TPBI that is committed to solving plastic waste problems by creating value added according to the concept of the circular economy from upstream to downstream. Starting from the implementation of the Won Project which aims to develop a system for collecting stretchable plastic waste and bringing it back into the recycling process, then continuing with the development of PCR pellet production to meet international quality standards, then further developing into products that are environmentally friendly, and finally, pushing those products to be certified to various standards to build trust with users which will help create more widespread use of environmentally friendly products in the future.”
