GC and TPBI join hands to further develop plastic waste management through the “YOUTURN x WON” project in the Circular Economy principle

April 28, 2022, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) and TPBI Public Company Limited (TPBI) join hands to "sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU)" to promote and drive sustainable plastic waste management through the collaboration project called “YOUTURN x WON".

The project's objectives are to create a good habit of using resources efficiently and separating stretchable plastic, hard plastic or other plastic, to determine the business model of used plastic pick-up points in different areas and bring back to recycle as raw materials as well as to jointly conduct research and development of recycle or upcycle products that can really be used by consumers. All of this is to keep the plastic circulating in the system and not leak into the environment in order to create a true circular economy.
