Magic Hands Project x WON Project

PPP Plastics, led by The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) and partners which is more than 30 private organizations including recycling entrepreneurs, retailers , and fuel stations, jointly established "Magic Hands Project x WON Project" that has set up a bin for receiving stretchy plastic which known as “Tung Won Thung” meaning “a bin that you can circulate your used plastic bags” as a donation point for plastic bags and plastic film packaging in Bangkok and its vicinities, Chonburi and Rayong more than 300 drop points. Magic Hands aims to expand the number of drop points to neighboring provinces and other provinces in the future. Plastics that Magic Hands Project accepts are stretch plastics, which is as same as WON Project, such as T-shirt bags, Shopping bags, Ice bags, Shrink film (cover of bottled water or UHT containers ), Bubble film, Bread bags, Sugar bags, Fruit bags, Mailing bags, Ziplock bags, etc. Such plastics will be recycled into plastic resins for use in the production of T-shirt bags, shopping bags, and other plastic products so that these plastics do not leak into the environment and landfills. This is the way to reduce plastic waste in the sea and promote the effective use of resources by recycling. Every 1 kg of plastic that we received will be converted into 5 Thai Baht for donation to the Rare Marine Life-Saving Center.
