WON drives the Circular Economy concept at the Top Green Executive Program to Share Insights on Circular Economy and EPR Legislation

On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer and WON Project Executive of TPBI Public Company Limited, was honored to be a guest speaker at the Top Green Executive Program. This program is designed for business leaders who aim to drive sustainability and prepare their organizations for the evolving business landscape.

During his lecture, Mr. Saksit shared valuable insights in a session titled “Circular Economy in Actions”, highlighting practical implementations of WON Project—an initiative focused on recycling used plastic bags and films to reintegrate them into the circular economy, reducing waste, and promoting resource efficiency.

Additionally, Mr. Saksit participated in a discussion on “EPR Legislation” (Extended Producer Responsibility) alongside Dr. Sujitra Vassanadumrongdee from the Sustainable Environment Research Institute of Chulalongkorn University. The EPR framework emphasizes the responsibility of producers and importers to manage the environmental impact of their products throughout their lifecycle, a crucial approach for sustainable waste and resource management.

The Top Green Executive Program - founded by Chulalongkorn University- aims to educate and develop business owners, board members, C-level executives, and government leaders who seek to integrate eco-friendly strategies and create positive social impacts through their organizations.
