"Won" Participates with MEA in Waste Management Solutions Panel, Advancing Environmental Sustainability

On December 12, 2024, Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer and Project Director of Won, operated by TPBI Public Company Limited, was honored to participate in a panel discussion on "Waste Management Solutions" as part of the MEA GO 2024 Program. The event, organized by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), took place at Seminar Rooms 2-3, 12A Floor, Watthanawiphas Building, MEA Headquarters (Khlong Toei), with over 250 attendees present.

During the discussion, Mr. Saksit- together with Chak Daeng Temple representative and Zero Waste Yolo (a Social Entreprise for environmental)- emphasized the importance of environmentally friendly waste management and presented the success story of Won, a project focused on waste reduction and resource circulation to maximize efficiency. The initiative highlights reducing plastic waste and fostering collaboration across various sectors of society.

The event also featured an exchange of ideas with participants on waste management strategies for large organizations, including minimizing operational waste, implementing recycling processes, and developing waste management systems that align with sustainability goals. These efforts aim to create an environmentally conscious and sustainable future.
