TPBI welcomes Silpakorn University students for factory visit, enhances learning experience in plastic production and recycling processes

On 8th October 2024, TPBI Public Company Limited (TPBI) welcomed a group of 30 undergraduate students from the Petrochemical and Polymer Materials Engineering program at Silpakorn University for a factory visit. The purpose of this visit was to enhance the students' knowledge of applying theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to real-world industrial settings.

The fourth-year students in the Petrochemical and Polymer program had the opportunity to observe various stages of plastic production, from environmentally friendly recycling processes to the manufacturing of different types of plastic products, especially film blowing, which is a key process in packaging production. This visit not only helped students gain insights into production technologies but also fostered an understanding of the importance of developing sustainable and eco-friendly products in the plastic industry.

A total of approximately 34 participants attended the visit, including 30 students, 2 faculty members from Silpakorn University, and two Post-Doctoral researchers from India. The visit served as an opportunity for knowledge exchange and the sharing of industrial experiences.
