Held under the theme “The Land of Recycling”, the event aimed to open opportunities for followers and supporters of WON Project to actively participate and gain hands-on knowledge about managing stretchable plastic waste — from its collection at the household level to the industrial recycling process. Participants also learned how recycled plastic pellets are processed into new products, reinforcing the circular use of post-consumer plastic to maximize its value.

The event commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. Sitthichai Borrisuttanakul, Chief Operating Officer (Consumables), followed by an overview of WON Project and TPBI’s sustainability roadmap, presented by Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of WON Project. Participants were then divided into groups to explore each step of the recycling journey. The visit began with the sorting zone, where attendees learned and practiced how to properly sort stretchable plastic waste. Next, they visited the recycling zone to observe how post-consumer plastic is processed — from cleaning and melting to converting it into recycled plastic pellets using industrial-scale machinery. Finally, they toured the product showcase zone, where various recycled and upcycled products were displayed to illustrate how these materials can be given new life in practical ways.
