WON Project Drives Circular Economy Through Pilot Household Waste Separation Program in Bangkok Condominiums
Bangkok, 12 February 2026 — Mr. Saksit Borrisuttanakul, Chief Marketing Officer of TPBI Public Company Limited and Executive of the WON Project, participated in a press conference to announce the progress and official commitment of the “Pilot Household Waste Separation Program in Bangkok Condominiums,” held at Fuji 2 Room, 4th Floor, Hotel Nikko Bangkok.
The project is implemented by the Thailand Environment Institute in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), through the Department of Environment, with support from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (DEPA) and the Royal Danish Embassy in Thailand. The initiative also brings together more than 15 partner organizations across the waste management value chain, particularly in plastic waste management and recycling, aiming to develop an efficient model for condominium waste management and elevate Bangkok’s waste management standards toward long-term sustainability.

Under this program, condominium residents who participate and properly separate waste according to the established criteria will be eligible for reduced waste collection fees under Bangkok’s revised municipal regulations. Guided by the principle of “the more you sort, the less you pay,” the initiative aims to encourage public participation in responsible and systematic waste management.
The initial phase will begin with pilot implementation in 10 condominiums located in Khlong Toei and Watthana districts, before expanding to cover all 50 districts of Bangkok in the future.

WON Project, led by TPBI Public Company Limited, will leverage its expertise in waste management and recycling to support the transformation of waste into valuable resources under the Circular Economy concept, contributing to sustainable waste management and reducing environmental impact over the long term.
